Adata ssd toolbox recommendation11/14/2023 There is also a four pin header unpopulated (maybe a serial connection for programming the controller) along with a two pin header facing the front of the PCB. Two independent switching converters phases appear to be populated on this side, one for each flash chip, and more power conversion appears to be handled by a chip marked 3123B 815J1. However, judging from the codes printed near the location mark, these appear to be Intel/Micron flash memory parts. The flash controller is paired with two flash packages, remarked with ADATA’s own logo and part number. However, unlike the SU630, I believe the SU650 uses TLC memory instead which translates into higher endurance figures of (280TBW instead of 100TBW). This particular flash controller is a special one, as it is one of the few capable of operating QLC memory aside from the Phison controller and shares a commonality with the lower ADATA SU630 SSD which does use QLC. The top of the PCB reveals a Maxio MAS09024-B2C flash controller dated Week 9 of 2018. The PCB itself is quite compact, itself labelled with the ADATA brand and serial number. The two halves of the case separate by defeating the snaps along all sides. Removing the bottom label already gives us a hint as to the size of the actual PCB. The drive itself uses a screw-less design, which also saves money. With a drive of this price, I just couldn’t wait to get the covers off – so I went ahead. On the side of the drive, a warranty label is placed across the seam of the casing. The labelling on the top of the drive has a nice finish, with the label on the underside providing the expected basic information. The bottom plate feels to be made of metal, with a top cover made of plastic – another cost-saving measure, no doubt. The drive itself feels relatively lightweight and insubstantial – as many value SSDs do. The warranty information for the drive is printed on the tearaway flap, which claims a three-year warranty for SSDs. Then again, I suppose even if you do destroy the package, as long as the drive comes out in one piece, that’s fine? Unfortunately, the perforations were not very deep, which meant that peeling it was a bit of a careful exercise to make sure that we weren’t otherwise decimating the package. Unlike some of the competitors’ more frustration-loaded packages which require scissors to open, this package has a convenient perforation to allow for peeling out the cardboard backing to expose the drive within. The only performance metric on the package seems to be a claim of up to 520MB/s read and 450MB/s write, with the rest of the advertised feature set being practically standard fare for a modern SSD. Of course, at this price point, there are basically zero other inclusions – no adapter cradles, no spacing shims, no screws. Because of the low price, the moniker of “Ultimate” feels rather curious – what is it the ultimate of? Performance? Value for money? Low prices? I guess that’s something that’s left to the buyers’ imagination. The drive comes inside a rather flashy packaging designed for retail, including an almost iridescent, holographic background and clear plastic bubble showing off the drive itself. That made purchasing the drive almost a no-brainer, but what would it be made of and would it be any good? Unboxing That’s quite a bit of a discount compared to the regular prices of the competing drives of the present market and is also cheaper than many of the USB flash drives. Combining the offer with their listing for an ADATA Ultimate SU650 480GB SSD resulted in a price of just AU$56.49 including GST and shipping, for a net cost of just 12c per GB. There has rarely been a better time to buy an SSD, especially when considering that many online stores have discount codes and cashbacks which can further reduce the price.ĭespite not being in the market for SSDs (as I already have a plentiful supply of drives which serve my needs despite being a little small for my liking), the recent $30 off Newegg Australia promotion really caught my eye. Solid state drive (SSD) pricing has taken a pummelling over the last few months with a global flash oversupply.

Pokertracker 4 or holdem manager 211/14/2023 Importing hands from a PokerTracker or Hold’em Manager database Where it says ' Archive hand histories older than 5 minutes', change 5 minutes to 1440 minutes. Then from the popup, select Auto Import Options. In Hold'em Manager 2, from the Options section, select Hand Importing. In PokerTracker 4, go to Configure > Sites & Import Options and click the Preferences tab. Uncheck the box that says ' Move Processed Files To:' To fix the issue, you'll need to delay the archiving of hand histories (in the case of HM2) and turn it off completely (in the case of PT4). This will result in missed sessions and incomplete data. Running PT4 or HM2 with the default archive settings will interfere with the import of hands into Pokeit. Turn off or delay the archiving of hand histories View more details about Poker Copilot, Hold’em Manager 2 and Poker Tracker 4.Pokeit can be run alongside PokerTracker 4 (PT4) or Hold'em Manager 2 (HM2) as long as you turn off or delay the archiving of hand histories. You can import hands from either program into Pokeit by syncing their archive folders or by exporting hands through the interface. The difference in pricing is small, so your top consideration should be which one fits you best personally. In any case, all 3 poker tracking programs offer a free 30-day trial versions for download, so you can just install them and see which one you like best. On the other hand, if you just want to test the waters of online poker (beware the sharks □ ), the starting sets of Poker Tracker 4 and Holdem Manager 2 would make more sense. In short, if you plan on a long career in online poker, Poker Copilot is the better deal. While the small stakes versions of Poker Tracker 4 and Holdem Manager 2 are cheaper at $59.99, their full versions for Holdem cost $99.99 and $159.99 if Omaha is included. With regard to price, Poker Copilot is € 79 for Holdem & Omaha. If you don’t use such tools, then this is not un issue, but otherwise you would be better sticking to the old ways of PT4 and HM2. On the flip side, Poker Copilot is lean and doesn’t offer additional tools like table selection (there’s no Table Ninja 2 for Poker Copilot). This makes it a very good option if you play both on Windows and Mac devices – the transition of hand histories is much easier than in PT4 and HM2. Poker Copilot is smaller, faster and doesn’t require installing third party assets like the PostgreSQL database in order to function. The main feature of Poker Copilot is Simplicity It has all the core features of a modern poker tracker – from the rich statistics and data visualization, to the customization options for the HUD. In terms of features, Poker Copilot is quite versatile and can give the other two giants a run for their money. Today all 3 programs support both platforms, but the “quick and light” approach typical for Apple’s products is still recognizable in Poker Copilot. Originally developed only for Mac, Poker Copilot is naturally less known than the popular PC-centric PT4 and HM2. It is an interesting alternative to the dominant Poker Tracker 4 and Hold’em Manager 2. Poker Copilot is a poker HUD and tracker software. 2008 chevy cobalt alternator11/14/2023 If the ground connection of the chassis or the engine goes bad in your Cobalt due to rust or corrosion, you will face all sorts of electrical issues, including battery light illuminating in the dashboard. What happens when the ground connection goes bad? For this purpose, a ground strap/wire is used to connect the engine and the chassis. The engine also requires a ground connection to function, but the way the engine is mounted, it does not allow the electric current to flow between the engine and the body (due to non-conductive rubber insulated engine mounts). The negative terminal of the battery is connected to the body/chassis of Cobalt, called a ground connection. Poor ground connection What is a ground connection? When the battery charge gets too low the engine will shut down, and you will be stranded. The battery charge will go down as you drive since all the on-board electronic controllers and accessories are now solely powered by the battery. Yes, you can drive your Cobalt with a bad alternator, but only for a short distance. Can you drive Cobalt with a bad alternator? If you see numbers between 13.5 volts and 14.8 volts with no major fluctuations when you turn on the accessories in the vehicle, the alternator is functioning properly.

Nxfilter mac11/14/2023 Additionally, the transparent proxy server setup is a challenge, even for experienced admins. Your browser will not send an HTTPS request to your proxy if you try to redirect traffic transparently. With the transparent proxy setup, however, you will have a problem with HTTPS filtering because it violates the browser restriction for man-in-the-middle attacks. In principle, you can reduce the setup overhead by operating a transparent proxy server, but even then the devil is in the details. If you use an HTTP proxy server, for example, all your browser settings need to be edited. The challenge for the system administrator is to create a filtering infrastructure that does not require individual employees to change their work environments. The big result is that the web proxy agents only act as local web proxies for each individual user, which means no problems with network performance. Both are local web proxies themselves and can do everything that classic web filters offer, including blocking IP hosts. NxFilter also solves this limitation by implementing its own web proxy filtering through its agents NxLogon and NxClient. For example, you cannot enforce a secure search or keyword filtering for URLs because it is done at the DNS level. Much can be said for the use of a DNS filtering mechanism on a corporate network, but in practice, it leads to functional limitations. NxLogon is the AD single-sign-on agent for NxFilter, and NxClient is the remote user filter of the environment. To control the server, two agents, NxLogon and NxClient, provide convenient web-based applications to block UltraSurf, Tor, Skype, Minecraft, and so on. These methods result in potential approaches for the use of NxFilter in corporate networks, because it can differentiate between users and apply specific filtering policies.

Dji phantom 2 vision plus camera guard11/14/2023 Regardless, over 1,300 feet in the air and half a mile away is quite an impressive range. The Phantom 2 Vision+ is rated to a distance of 700 meters (2296 feet), which is about half a mile, but a contact at DJI claims that many pilots can fly 2000 meters in an open area with the drone. The Vision drones do not have the range that the original Phantom models do, which relies on their controller frequencies. For instance, the drone defaults to a maximum height of 400 meters (1312 ft.), but I could alter that number to restrict it to less than 1312 feet. The Assistant software allows the user to set maximum flight distances as well. The maximum height and distance can be altered via the Assistant software.Ī general overview of the DJI Assistant software. The IMU is the compass and will not function properly if exposed to magnetic surfaces, so it's probably wise to at least check the status of the IMU before each flight a job that can be carried out in a matter of seconds. Therefore, DJI recommends an IMU calibration, which can be done from within the Assistant software as well. It's rare, but some units can get jostled a bit too heavily in shipping and will not function properly out of the box. Once the software recognizes the drone, it will check to see if it has the latest firmware and update if necessary. Once the software is downloaded, the drone needs to be powered on and connected via USB to the computer. The software itself is quite basic and the English is not perfect, but it does the trick. Before initial takeoff, it is essential to connect the Phantom 2 Vision+ to the DJI Assistant software, which is available for download from the DJI website.

Honda element 200511/14/2023 (Sorry, couldn't resist.) It's a great vehicle for getting groceries. When it comes to moving cargo, however, this Honda is in its element. Pull up next to a wall and your passengers will find themselves stuck in an unexpected, intimate party, as they all get trapped between the open doors. This design results in a shuffle whenever dropping off back-seat passengers because the front-seat occupants have to unbuckle their seatbelts and open their doors to let rear passengers in or out. Likewise, the rear doors have to be closed before the front side doors can be closed. For safety reasons, however, the rear side doors cannot be opened unless the front door has been opened first. With no B-pillars to get in the way, there's easy access to the rear seating area. One of the most talked-about features of the Element is its pillarless, rear-hinged back doors. This makes the Element a poor choice for taking a group sightseeing. However, we found rear-seat passengers complained about not being able to see signs and buildings they have to stoop to see out the windshield. They're raised off the floor a couple of inches higher than the front seats, giving back-seat passengers better visibility over the front seats. The front seat area provides acres of headroom, and there's no center tunnel between the front seats to get in the way. The Honda Element has lots of room for passengers and cargo, with a flexible interior designed to handle all combinations of people and stuff. Large 16-inch wheels help ensure the Element doesn't look like a minivan. The Element's rear corners are nicely curved, so it does not look as chunky from behind. That tailgate is split horizontally so that the lower half can be used as a seating surface for parties. The hood line is fairly low and leads to a steep windshield flowing into a gently curved roofline while the rear tailgate is nearly vertical. The side of the vehicle has a distinct shape unlike any other on American roads. Or is it a van? For one thing, the front fascia, front and rear fenders, and rocker panels are all made of a scratch- and dent-resistant composite molded in dark gray (though a few EX models get color-coordinated trim).įrom the front, the Element has a cheeky, chunky look accentuated by rectangular headlights and the unusual design of the bumper. The Honda Element is one funky looking car. Curtain airbags, designed for head protection in a side impact or rollover, are not available. As mentioned, 2005 EX models include ABS and front-seat side-impact airbags, the latter designed to protect driver and front-passenger's torsos. The Element earned a five-star rating for both driver and front-seat passenger in the federal (NHTSA) frontal crash test. Safety features on all Elements include front seatbelts with pre-tensioners and load limiters to reduce the chance of belt-related injuries. Silver EX models are accented by blue cladding and trim, while Red and Magnesium EX models feature black trim. (The base DX model has been dropped for 2005.)ĮX ($19,525) adds side-impact airbags and anti-lock brakes (ABS) aluminum wheels remote keyless entry a passenger-side armrest and a seven-speaker, 270-watt AM/FM/CD audio system with XM Satellite Radio capability plus an auxiliary input for MP3, WMA, or other digital media. The LX ($17,450) comes with air conditioning with micron filtration, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, cruise control, an adjustable steering column, and a four-speaker AM/FM/CD stereo. The 2005 Honda Element comes in two trim levels, LX and EX. Models with all-wheel drive feature a large rear skylight that tilts open or removes completely and stores inside the vehicle. It comes with a choice of five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission ($800), and it's available with front-wheel drive or Honda's Real Time all-wheel drive ($1,400). The Honda Element is powered by Honda's i-VTEC 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. The 2005 models come with more standard equipment, including side-impact airbags for the top-of-the-line EX models. But it's built with components from the Honda Civic, so it drives more like a car than a truck-based SUV. Inside and out, it looks like a little truck. And it appeals to a much larger audience than just young men.Įlement's durable, scratch-resistant interior is a big part of its charm. Honda says the Element was designed specifically for young adventurers who need to haul wet or messy gear, like you can in a pickup, but with the security of an enclosed cargo area, like an SUV's, plus car-like performance and economy. The Honda Element is the versatile box of motor vehicles, combining unique and practical features with a kind of military/utilitarian chic.
